Funeral services for Annette Bowyer will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 1, 2025, at the Cleburne Seventh-day Adventist Church with Pastor Harly Charles officiating. A private burial will follow in the Keene Memorial Park Cemetery with Kylan Stephenson, Nathan Bowyer, Ryan Bowyer, Ricardo Gonzalez, Justin Bowyer, Cason Bowyer, Devin Bowyer, and Koby Sronce serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Aaron Moses, Peter Devlin, Terry Hoskins, Joel Stephenson, and Hayden Bowyer.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5 - 7 p.m. Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Rosser Funeral Home.
Annette Lucille Bowyer, 88 of Alvarado Texas passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on Memorial Day, May 26, 2025.
Annette was born August 3, 1936 in Edinburg, Texas, the youngest of three daughters of James and Celestine Luke. She married Charles Bowyer of Brownsville in Edinburg on November 6, 1955.
Annette worked in a business administration capacity with her husband in his construction company for many years, and later with her son in his property rental businesses.
Annette is survived by her sons Douglas Bowyer and wife Sherry, Ronald Bowyer and wife Ginger, Darrell Bowyer and wife Jackie, and daughter Sheri Stephenson and husband Garye; grandchildren Joel Stephenson, Nathan Bowyer and wife Genia, Kylan Stephenson, Ryan Bowyer and wife Stacie, Justin Bowyer and wife Whitney, Devin Bowyer and wife Katie, Ashlie Sronce and husband Koby, Kelsie Gonzalez and husband Ricardo, Hayden Bowyer, and Cason Bowyer; great grandchildren Lakeyn Stephenson, Rylan Stephenson, Vincent Stephenson, Serena Bowyer, Daniel Bowyer, Levi Bowyer, Allison Bowyer, Lucy Bowyer, Lucas Bowyer, Ethan Bowyer, Piper Sronce, Juniper Bowyer, and "Soon to be" baby girl Sronce; sisters Betty Taylor and Dorothy Wilcox, and countless nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
Annette was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Charles Maynard Bowyer, and brothers-in-law Dwight Taylor and Willis Wilcox.
Annette was a dedicated supporter of the Cleburne Adventist Christian School and has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her memory to CACS at 111 Meadow View Drive, Cleburne, Texas 76033.
