It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Myrtle Annette Keys, a beloved mother, Nana, and friend. Annette peacefully departed this world on January 10, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories.
Born on February 11, 1939, Annette filled her days with love, laughter, and a zest for life. She was a woman of impeccable style, always dressed to impress. Engaging with the world around her, Annette found joy in the simplest of pleasures, whether it be taking cruises and exploring new destinations or indulging in her passion for shopping.
While Annette was undoubtedly proud of her accomplishments, her true happiness resided in the role of Nana to her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Spending time with them would light up her world, and she cherished each precious moment they shared together. The laughter, love, and playful adventures they experienced will forever be etched in their hearts.
Aside from her roles as mother and grandmother, Annette was an avid traveler, with a particular fondness for New York City. She would eagerly take in the breathtaking sights and immerse herself in the vibrant atmosphere, capturing moments of splendor through plays and musicals. The memories she created during these journeys will forever be treasured.
Annette is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, William Harold Keys, her parents, Liston and Myrtle Williamson, brother, Gaston Williamson, and her sister, Peggy York.
Annette is lovingly survived by her daughter, Tracy Roberts, sons, Murray (Linda) Williamson, Todd (Carole) Little, her three grandchildren, Courtney (T.J.) Thomas, Clint (Paige) Williamson, Tifani (Brandon) Seligman, and by her four great-grandchildren, Arlen Thomas, Zoe Thomas, Nathan Thomas, and Ellis Williamson.
