Annette Korkus: A Life Well-Lived
Annette Korkus (nee Angelucci), 86, passed away peacefully at home on June 2, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She leaves behind a legacy of immense love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Annette's greatest joy was her family. She was the devoted mother of Christine Tretter (Mark), Robert Doran (Lisa), and John Doran (Kathy). She adored her six grandchildren, Chantelle, Robert III, John II, Justin, Kayla, and Jarred, and her five great-grandchildren, Emma, Ava Kathleen, Ava Marie, Haley, and Harper Annette.
Annette navigated life's challenges with remarkable resilience. Widowed young after the tragic death of her first husband, Robert Doran I, she courageously raised her children. Years later, she found love again with her devoted husband, George Korkus, who also preceded her in death.
Annette embraced life with enthusiasm. She loved playing Texas Hold 'Em and traveling to places like Las Vegas, Italy, and Hawaii. Her kitchen was the heart of every gathering, famous for her legendary sticky buns, Washington pie, and cream puffs - expressions of love shared with family and friends. Annette's warm smile and generous heart made everyone feel valued, and her ability to find joy in simple pleasures was infectious.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Annette's life on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Boyd Horrox Givnish Funeral Home, 200 W. Germantown Pike, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462. Receiving of Friends will be from 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM, followed by a Memorial Service at 11:30 AM.

I remember the fun times early in my life visiting Aunt Annette“s house and playing with the poodles. Great memories of the Italian cookies she would make for family. Rest well Aunt Annette. Love you
