Katherine Korkus, 97, passed away peacefully on December 28th, 2023 with her family by her side.
Katherine leaves behind her daughters Lynda Arraje, Katherine Mastrapasqua, Robin Korkus, son Frank DeLuca, her grandchildren Jason Arraje, Jesse DeLuca, Michael DeLuca, Christopher Massad, Amanda Massad, four great grandchildren, and her sister Mildred Harned.
She is preceded by her grandson, Anthony Massad, and her brother, Thomas Lee.
Katherine spent 72 years in Worcester. Some of her favorite memories were spending time with her family and friends at Hampton Beach, baking, drawing, and doing word searches and puzzles. She adored her family and loved spending time with them.
A special thank you to the CareOne Millbury staff, especially Krystina, Christy, Annie, Liz, and Oscar, who cared for her over the last 7 years.
In memory of Katherine, give someone a hug, pay them a compliment, or simply smile at a stranger. You never know when or how you can make someone's day.
A celebration of life will be held in private at the request of the family.
In lieu of flowers a memorial contribution can be made to the Genesis Club, which ensures members have access to meaningful employment, healthy lifestyles, safe housing, and education and find genuine belonging, friendships, and purpose

Abby's House, which provides shelter and affordable housing, as well as advocacy and support services, to homeless, battered, and low-income women, with or without children.
