Annette Kunce, born on April 23, 1948, in Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 17, 2025, in Glasgow, Kentucky. Annette was a devoted housewife who dedicated her life to her family and created a loving home filled with warmth and kindness. Annette was a caregiver to everyone. Her family was the main source of her purpose. She was a member of St. Helen's Catholic Church and was a volunteer in the food pantry for many years.
Throughout her life, Annette fondly remembered her parents, Sylvester Charles Miller and Sarah Catherine (Robinson) Miller, who instilled in her the values of love and compassion. She was preceded in death by her husband who was the love of her life and was married to for 47 years, Gary Kunce; her brothers, Clinton "Sonny" Miller, William "Bill" Miller, and Roger Miller, as well as her sister, Genevieve "Genny" Borgel. These family members hold a special place in her heart, and their memories will forever be cherished.
Annette is survived by her loving daughters, Melissa Shirley (Chad) and Laura Ballard (Wade), who carry forward her legacy of love and dedication. Her brothers, Sylvester "Pete" Miller (Katie) and James "Tony" Miller (Barbara), and her sister, Nancy Miller, remain as a source of strength and remembrance of the bond they shared with Annette.
Annette was blessed with several grandchildren who brought joy to her life: Ryan Shirley (Cassie), Heather Shirley-Bertram (Charlie), Sydney (Ballard) Burton (Jess), and Austin Ballard. Additionally, she was a proud great-grandmother to Ayden, Aubrey, Ryker, Aybree, Shelby, Phoenix, and Huxley, whose laughter and love filled her heart with happiness.
The family invites friends to join them in celebrating Annette’s life. Visitation will be held at A.F Crow & Son Funeral Home in Glasgow, Kentucky, on March 20, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and again on March 21, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM, leading to Annette's burial at Beech Grove Cemetery.
Annette Kunce's spirit will continue to live on through the love she shared with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those she touched.
