Surrounded by family, Annette Perreault passed away on November 1, 2025 due to complications from ovarian cancer. A loving wife, mother, and friend, she leaves behind a legacy of humor, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to those she loved. Fittingly for her and her deep religious devotion, it was on All Saint's Day, a solemn holy day in the Catholic Church.

Annette was born and raised in Chicago where she enjoyed taking the train into downtown with her Aunt and having tea at The Waldorf as a special treat. She graduated from St. Xavier University in 1965 with a B.S. in Nursing. After spending a summer volunteering with the Christian Appalachian Project, she decided to stay in the area and help any way she could. She became a public health nurse in Eastern Kentucky for many years before moving to Georgia. She cared for patients in Kentucky, Georgia, and Virginia before retiring to be a full time grandma.

She is survived by her devoted spouse of 58 years, Joe Perreault, her 3 children Joe, Cara, and Allison, along with her 7 grandchildren. Her children remember her for always being their cheering section whether it be at a basketball game, a cycling event, a swim meet or a choir concert. Her whistles and encouragement could be heard above the crowd - and you could always find her!

Annette's many hobbies were vast and varied. She had a love of fine craftsmanship in all its forms. She enjoyed collecting lace, linens and tablecloths particularly Mountmellick lace. Her collection was given to the Mountmellick Embroidery & Heritage Museum in County Laois, Ireland so others will be able to appreciate the craftsmanship of these artisans for years to come. She loved to travel and happily enjoyed exploring new cultures, good food and wine with friends and family on their many, many adventures. An excellent travel companion, she could out pace us all.

She was a fine seamstress; making clothes or costumes or dolls or Christmas stockings for her children, friends and occasionally, herself. She was an avid needlepointer and cross stitcher. Many friends and family have been blessed with her work to enjoy. Her love of fine craftsmanship extended to all forms of crafts. She found joy in her collection of handmade angels, nativities, pottery, hand stitched quilts, as well as handcrafted furniture using a variety of American wood.

Annette was deeply involved in her Catholic faith. She attended catholic schools in elementary school, high school and college. She was a long time choir member of All Saints in Dunwoody. She attended bible studies in every place she lived. Joe and Annette's involvement in Marriage Encounter deepened the strength of their marriage. Their strong bond is the road map her children follow today.

She was skilled cook, especially baking bread and rolls. She once brought 16 loaves of bread to all her children's teachers as a Christmas present and the homemade jam to go with it. She passed her love of baking on to all her children and grandchildren. They were always encouraged to be by her side as she was measuring, mixing, and kneading.

We want to thank all the caregivers that championed Mom during these final years, who never gave up, laughed and cried with, and deeply cared for Mom. To the doctors, nurses, techs, and caregivers, we can never adequately express how grateful we are for your many kindnesses. "Thank you" barely scratches the surface.

Annette was a friend to all who knew her, a cherished mother, devoted spouse, with a heart for joy, compassion, and love. Those who give love, gather love and she gathered and treasured the love she found in every corner of her world. Truly well done my good and faithful servant.

In lieu of flowers, Joe asks that you donate to St Vincent DePaul in Annette's honor at St Peter Chanel Catholic Church.
