Annette Lynn Stein (nee Simonelli), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2023, at the age of 59. Beloved daughter of Cindy and George Ritter; loving mother of Ashley (Steven) Brutcher, Joshua (Jessica) Cole, and Allyson Cole; cherished grandmother of Bianca, Bryson, Reagan, Eli, Cleo, Liam, and Cally; precious significant other of Jeff Homer; dear sister of Dianne Simonelli and Bill (Maria) Hale.
Annette was a GIVER. It was in her bones to be a caretaker, always putting others’ needs above her own. No one went thirsty, hungry, unhugged or unloved. She made sure of it. At any given time, you could open her fridge to find each kid and grandkids’ favorites. Her thoughtfulness will always be unmatched… The smallest, detailed things never went unnoticed. She loved having her house full of smiling faces, Journey playing, the game on and tons of grandkids running around. Regardless of how many people there were, you could forget trying to help because “she’s got it.” That is what made her the happiest.
Her smiles, giggles and love were absolutely contagious. She was always quick to brighten the mood and find a silver lining in the worst scenarios. A beautiful woman with a beautiful soul. The world will truly be a little less bright without her here.
