Annette Wright Obituary

**FUNERAL SERVICES ARE NOW RESCHEDULED**

Annette (Annie) Lea Wright, born May 17, 1972, in Morristown, TN, passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on Monday, July 21, 2025.

Having a very special spirit, Annette was a member of First Baptist Church of Morristown where she was baptized after professing her faith. She graduated from Morristown East High School and later in life was employed at Lakeway Center. Though not necessarily a fan of work, what she was fan of was the University of Tennessee football and basketball teams. Her fandom was second to none and whether watching on television or attending numerous men's basketball games with her parents, she could frequently be found at game's end with either tears of joy or remorse. Her frequent barbs at opponents were hostile, coarse and sometimes even mean. She was awesome at it.

Annette was strong willed, fiery and loving all the while hosting abundant other traits that could never adequately be described to capture her amazing soul. Throughout her life she developed numerous relationships that touch all involved.

Annette will be sorely missed by the ones she left behind. Those include her parents, Phil and Patsy Wright, who were incredibly wonderful caretakers for all of her 53 years. Their sacrifices to ensure her well-being through the years were remarkable and Annette loved them as deeply as a human being could love. She also leaves behind her twin sister, Angie (Tim) Hill; brother, Jeff (Pamela) Wright; nieces, Abigial Wright and Chloe Hill; nephew, Cooper Wright; and uncle, Bob (Margaret) Wright.

While we are inconsolable at this time, we find comfort in knowing she has reached her heavenly destination and is in the arms of family and friends that preceded her.

The family will receive friends from 5 - 7 PM, Friday, August 1, 2025 in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home in Morristown, TN. A memorial service will follow at 7 PM with Rev. Dean Haun and Rev. Steve Smith officiating. Burial services will be held at 10 AM Saturday, August 2, 2025 in Historic Bethesda Cemetery.
