Annie Louise Bronner, 83, of West Trenton NJ, died Tuesday July 15, 2025, at Capital Health, Hopewell Campus.
She was born on August 6, 1941, to the late James and Louise Newman in Norfolk, Virginia. She was the eldest of seven children: Barbara Jean, Vivian, Ernest, Alton (Uncle Pete), Linda, and Donell.
Annie attended elementary school in Norfolk, Virginia but later moved to Bristol, Pennsylvania where she attended and graduated from Harry S. Truman High School.
She met and married Orlando Melvin Bronner. This union was blessed with eight children: Celicia, Aileen, Orlando, Jr, Shelton, Crystal, Jazs, Sean and Rachael. She also raised several of her grandchildren, Athena, Sonja and Stephen, as well.
Annie worked for Bell Telephone during the 1968 Trenton Riots that took place because of the death of Dr. Martin Luther King, which changed the face of the city till this day. She went on to work as a secretary for the State of New Jersey and later went on to work for Nelson Lebo.
Because Annie had been trained by the prestigious Bell Telephone company, she was highly sought after for her skills and went on to work for Princeton Hospital. After retiring from Princeton, she was then recruited by Robert Wood Johnson Hospital as a Switchboard operator. She retired from Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in 2018.
She was an avid reader and mystery movie enthusiast. She was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church and very active in the churches local ministry known as the Helping Hands. She served as treasurer for the ministry and was often asked to open and close the meetings in prayer. She loved her church and loved the ministry, and she went on to be honored by the Helping Hands for her dedicated service.
In addition to her parents, Annie was preceded in death by her husband, Orlando Melvin Bronner; son, Orlando Melvin Bronner, Jr.; siblings, Barbara Jean, Vivian and Donell. She is survived by seven of her children, Celicia, Aileen, Shelton, Crystal, Jazs, Sean and Rachael,15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and three siblings and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Dear Vivian and family,
My sincere condolences to everyone. I met Annie years ago when working at DOT. We shared our love for the LORD and became friends. Then Vivian by a mutual friend Carol Elliott.
