Obituary
Annie Louise Clark (LaGrosse) of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, peacefully went to her heavenly home on Friday, April 28, 2023 surrounded by family. Annie was born to Bessie Ernestine and Nicholas Ralph LaGrosse of Destin, Florida on June 18, 1943.
Annie graduated from Choctawhatchee High School in 1961 and married the love of her life, Fred Jack (Jess) Clark, on September 8, 1962. Shortly after their marriage, the newlyweds were stationed to Bitburg, Germany, where they welcomed their first child, Kimberly Ann, into the world in 1963 and then their son, Jesse Joseph, in 1965. In 1977, the Clark family moved back to Fort Walton Beach to make it their permanent home. Annie found the most joy in life from her family. Her family was the light of her life and would often be found talking about the accomplishments of her children and five precious grandchildren.
Annie is preceded in death by her parents, Bessie and Nicholas LaGrosse; her sister, Marceline Ramona (Nicky) Adams (LaGrosse); her brother, James Ralph (Buddy) LaGrosse; and her daughter-in-Law, Renee Clark. Annie is survived by her husband of sixty years, Fred Jack Clark; her children, Kimberly (John) Cappel and Jesse Clark; her grandchildren, Challiss (Travis) Topolski, Mary (Edward) Jewell, John Cappel, Emily Clark, and Ian (Jordon) Clark; her great grandchild, Eloise Mabel Jewell; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at the Dolores Hope Chapel on Bob Hope Village with the visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. followed by Funeral Liturgy at 11:00 a.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Bob Hope Village 6 Clubhouse immediately following the service.
In lieu of gifts, the family has asked for donations to Emerald Coast Hospice in memory of Annie Clark. The family is very thankful for all of their dedication, hard work and support during this transition.
