Annie Bell O'Bannon was born on May 27, 1925, in Bay Minette, Alabama, to the late Grover Cleveland, Sr. and Bertha Mosley Cleveland. Annie passed away peacefully at home on Friday, August 15, 2025, surrounded by love at the blessed and remarkable age of 100.

Annie was a loving and well-respected woman who graciously opened her home to countless visitors near and far, ensuring that there was always an abundance of food in the house to prepare for anyone who stopped in. She often said, "Feed your enemies; God will bless you," a testament to her generous spirit and faith in kindness. Annie dedicated many fulfilling years to her career at Community General Hospital/Harris Hospital, now known as Garnett Health, until her retirement.

A deeply spiritual and God-fearing woman, Annie was a long-standing member of Kings Chapel Mission Church in Monticello, NY, under the spiritual leadership of the late Elder Jesse Wrenn, the late Bishop Leon Williams, and Pastor Michael Williams. She was a fervent prayer warrior, interceding for her family and others with unwavering faith. One of her favorite songs she would often sing was, "Can't Nobody Do Me Like Jesus," echoing her deep-rooted beliefs. Her cherished phrases, "Let God Handle It" and "I am blessed," became mantras reflecting her positive outlook on life.

Annie embodied kindness and gentleness, with boundless love for her family and a passion for cooking. She is survived by her devoted children, Essie, Diane, and Rose, all of Middletown, NY; Alvin, Jr. of Maryland; and Mark Sr. and Betty, both of Monticello, NY. Her loving legacy also continues through her grandchildren, Tara, Mark Jr., Kiara, and Reanna, as well as her two great-grandchildren, Kade and Alaya. Also left to cherish her memories are her beloved siblings, Mabel Horace of Monticello, NY, and Louise Bracey of Rochester, NY; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Annie was predeceased by her devoted husband, Alvin O'Bannon, Sr.; her dear siblings, Margaret, Annie Lee, Lilly, Myrtle, and Grover, Jr.; and her son-in-law, Eddie Joe Hinson.

Annie Bell Cleveland O'Bannon will be profoundly missed by all who had the honor of knowing and loving her. We loved you dearly, but God loved you even more. One hundred years on earth, forever in Heaven.
