Homegoing Celebration of Annie Mae Phillips
Funeral Services for Annie Mae Phillips will begin at 11:00AM, on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at the Escude Funeral Home in Cottonport, LA. Burial will follow at Golden Chain Cemetery in Cottonport, LA.
Annie Mae Phillips was born in Pineville, LA on May 12, 1949. She went to her heavenly home on January 4, 2025, at 10:39pm. Annie Mae retired as an Eligibility Worker at the Department of Social Services in Marksville, LA for 27 years. Annie Mae leaves to cherish her loving memory; her daughter, Angela Dubrevil of Katy, TX; her son Troy Phillips (Danielle) of Cottonport, LA; step-daughter, Elnora Cage of Alexandria, LA; her sisters, Mary Lee Johnson (Johnnie), Doris Palmer (Willie); brother, Sam Slaughter, Jr.; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and a host of aunts, nieces, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Phillips; her father Sam Slaughter, Sr., her mother, Isidee Slaughter, her sisters, Johnnie Mae Williams and Geraldine Augustine; son-in-law, Keith Dubrevil and stepson, David McKinley.
Visitation will begin at 9:00AM until 11:00AM, on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Escude Funeral Home in Cottonport, LA. Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport, LA.
