Annie Lee "Jennie" Ralston, 67, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Sunday, July 2, 2023 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born to the late Sam and Mae Dee Ralston on December 24, 1955 in Parkin. Jennie attended Central High School in Parkin and was a member of Miller's Temple Cogic in Jonesboro. She enjoyed shopping, her grandchildren, Dancing, and riding around town visiting with family and friends. In addition to her parents, Jennie is preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Tommy Lee Madden; twin brother, Jimmy Ralston; brothers, Lawrence Ralston, Elvis Ralston, Lonnie Ralston, and Sam Ralston; sister, Margaret Ralston.
Jennie is survived by her daughters, Stephanie Ralston Anderson (Johnny) of Jonesboro, Tiffany Ralston-Robinson (Rodrick) of Jonesboro, and Sharon Ralston of Jonesboro; brothers, Ben Ralston and Sammy Ralston Jr; sisters, Florine James, Geraldine Jackson, Elsie Patterson, Berta Cook, and Bonnie Nesbit; grandchildren, Erica Cooper, Tinequa Cooper, Travarus Williams, Marquall Ralston, Shanise Ralston; and great grandchildren, Kadynce Cooper, Jayden Knight, and Maverick Davis.
The visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. on Saturday at Emerson Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Emerson Funeral Home with Pastor Glen Conley officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery with the active pallbearers being Johnny Anderson, Marquall Ralston, Travarus Williams, Rahman James, Courtney Thomas, and Terrence Thompson. The honorary pallbearers will be Ben Ralston, Sammy Ralston Jr., and Maurice James.
