Annie Sasser Obituary

We fondly remember Ann Sasser, a vibrant and cherished member of our community, whose joyful spirit lit up our lives. Ann had a zest for life that shone through her favorite activities-whether it was cruising in her golf cart, connecting with her beloved church family, or enjoying a delightful shopping spree.
A proud graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School, Ann carried her school spirit with her always. Ann shared a beautiful life with her husband, Kenneth Sasser.
She is lovingly remembered by her beloved husband Kenneth Sasser of the home; a son, Tarius Dickerson from Clayton, North Carolina, along with her three granddaughters: Bria Draughn (Raleigh, NC), Sabria Dickerson (New Jersey), and Tamra Dickerson (Charlotte, NC). Her heart swelled with joy for her four great-grandchildren. Her family also includes four wonderful brothers-in-law: Charles (Goldsboro, NC), Terell (Washington, DC), Skip (Fremont, NC), and Tim Ford (Wilson, NC); three sisters-in-law Stephanie (Washington, DC), Ruby (Wilson, NC), and Althea (Ft. Washington, MD). Ann enjoyed deep friendships, notably with Donald Bryant; Ann leaves behind a wide circle of relatives and friends who will forever treasure the memories and love she brought into their lives.
