Annie Geraldine Smith

Annie Geraldine (Crowe) Smith, 75, passed away on March 7, 2026, at her home.

She was born on August 8, 1950, to Claude C. and Nancy E. (Baugh) Crowe. Annie was a graduate of Jeffersonville High School, Class of 1968. She was a dedicated administrative assistant at First Baptist Church in Jeffersonville, Indiana, where she faithfully served for many years. Annie was also a former member of Bethel Baptist Church in Memphis, Indiana.

Annie was a hardworking woman who never shied away from getting her hands dirty. She was deeply involved with her family farm, where she helped keep the books and assisted with the many responsibilities that come with farm life. In her spare time, she enjoyed canning, tending to her vegetable garden, and caring for her flower garden. Annie found great joy in the simple pleasures of life and in caring for her home and family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George Ray Smith; her parents, Claude C. and Nancy E. (Baugh) Crowe; and several siblings.

Annie is survived by her only daughter, Cora (Mike) Dunn of Pekin, Indiana.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday March 15, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Adams Family Funeral Homes & Crematory in Henryville, IN with graveside services to follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery.

Family and friends may visit on from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM on March 14, 2026 and from Noon until the time of service on March 15, 2026, all at Adams Family Funeral Homes & Crematory in Henryville.

Memorial donations in honor of Annie may be given to Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
