Annmarie Huggins

Annmarie Huggins, a beloved daughter, mother, sister, memaw, and friend, will be remembered for her unwavering compassion and love for life. Born on June 8, 1966, in Harrisburg, PA, Annmarie dedicated her life to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant, embodying kindness and empathy in every interaction. She passed away on October 14, 2025, at her son's home in Fairview Township after a courageous battle with cancer.

A vibrant spirit, Annmarie found joy in the simple pleasures of life—whether it was the enjoying the outdoors camping with her family, the thrill of Bingo nights, or the joy of laughing and sharing stories with her family and friends. Her creative side shone through in her passion for diamond art, a hobby that brought her much happiness. Her absolute favorite thing to do was spend time with her mother Anna, going shopping, going out to eat, or just spending time together.

She is survived by her loving mother, Anna Marie Huggins; her children, Brandon L. Huggins of York Haven, Travis J. Huggins of New Cumberland, Corey J. Huggins (Rachael) of York Haven, Kaylamarie Huggins (Nathan Ogden) of York, and Kristymarie A. Anderson (Lee) of New Cumberland; her significant other, Larry Sturek of York Haven and his children and grandchildren; dear siblings, Rosemarie Showalter (Glenn) of Mount Wolf, James Huggins, Jr. (Angel) of New Cumberland, Rudy Huggins (Judy) of York Haven, and Chrismarie Johns (AJ) of Newville; and her cherished grandchildren, Leeland, Ana, CJ, Ezra, Russell, Kevin, Ares, and Serena, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Annmarie was preceded in death by her father, James Russell Huggins, whose love and guidance shaped her life. A viewing will be held on Monday, October 20th, from 10 AM until the funeral service at 11 AM at Parthemore Funeral Home in New Cumberland. Following the service, she will be laid to rest in Emanuel Cemetery in Fairview Township.

In honor of Annmarie's unexpected diagnosis, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Parthemore Funeral Home towards her beautiful services.
