Mr. Anthony A. Adams Sr. the son of William W. Adams and Rosie E. Holder Adams was born August 12, 1960 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Anthony professed a hope in Christ at an early age in life and was baptized.
Anthony graduated from George Washington High School. Shortly after graduation, Anthony joined the work force and worked for YRC (formally Yellow Freight) where he was employed for over 30+ years.
Anthony married the love of his life Doris A. Johnson on October 4, 1984. To this union two sons were born Anthony A. Adams Jr. and Andre Adams.
In his leisure Anthony enjoyed watching football and basketball, playing Horseshoes and spending time with family and friends. Anthony or "Woody" was a devoted son/brother/husband/father and friend and will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Mr. Anthony A. Adams Sr. departed this life on Monday, September 26, 2022 at Eskenazi Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Doris A. (Johnson) Adams a brother William A. Adams and sister Yvonne E. Adams.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Anthony A. Adams Jr. (Adrienne) and Andre Adams; five grandchildren; his siblings, Carolyn Parker, Ordainya (Corey) Humbert, and Calvin Adams; and a host of special nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
