Anthony Alfieri Obituary

Born in Brooklyn, Anthony was raised and resided there for many years before settling in Sewaren in 2000. He honorably served in the United States Army and later was employed as a superintendent with the New York City Transit Authority, from which he retired from. Anthony was a selfless man, caring for the needs of others before his own, including his family and many friends. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be deeply missed.
Anthony was predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Mary Alfieri along with his wife, Rosemarie Alfieri in 2010. Surviving are his children, Anthony Alfieri with his wife Lydia, Jennine Rozany with her husband Brian and Jennifer Alfieri with her husband Jonathan Ferrer; grandchildren, Ashley, Gabriella, Julian, Jayden, Jessica, Gianna, Andrew and Christian along with his dog Jax.
Funeral service will begin at 10am on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 from GERITY & CHUBENKO FUNERAL HOME, 411 Amboy Avenue, Woodbridge followed by a 10:30am Mass of Christian Burial at St. James R.C. Church in Woodbridge. Private cremation will follow.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3, 2025 from 5pm to 9pm at the funeral home.
