Anthony Barbagallo

Anthony Barbagallo, 96, of New Milford, NJ, formerly of Palisades Park NJ passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2025. Anthony grew up in East Harlem, NY where he met and married the love of his life, the late Anita Barbagallo nee; Salimbene. He was predeceased by his Daughter, Joanne Albanese and is survived by his children Anthony Barbagallo Jr. and Gina and Chris Buchman. He was a loving Grandfather to Nicole and Bill Azack, Joseph and Jenna Albanese and Nicholas and Christina Buchman. Anthony was fortunate enough to be a Great Grandfather to Sienna, Briella and Billy Azack and Luca and Joey Albanese. He was a proud member of the Bricklayers Union, Local 1 of New York for fifty years until his retirement in 2001, as a Business Agent. Anthony was also proud to be a Navy Veteran and a life long member of the Boys Club of New York. Friends and family are invited for visitation this Tuesday, August 19th from 3-7PM at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Road, Oradell, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, August 20th at 10AM at St. Joseph RCC in Oradell. Entombment to follow at Garden of Memories in Washington Township, NJ.
