Anthony Cornelius Obituary
Anthony owned and operated Cornelius Christmas Tree plantation for 25 years in Crickmer and Air Masters Heating & Cooling. He spent 28 years in North Carolina working in HVAC and textiles. He was also a member of Millbrook Baptist Church in Crickmer.
He was the son of Fred and Georgia Huffstetler Cornelius.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sisters, Nancy and Mary; and brothers, Jennings and Joe.
Those left to cherish his memory include: his wife Barbara; daughters, Jennifer (Lee) Goff of Wilmington, NC, and Shelley (James) Mullins of Danese, WV; son, Chris (Jacinda) Cornelius of Conway, MO; sisters, Rachel Eckard of Belmont, NC and Jane Leatherman of Belmont, NC; brother, Ray Cornelius of Goose Creek, SC; 7 grandchildren; and one expected great-grandchild.
Services will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Wallace & Wallace, Rainelle with Pastor Steve Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Martin Cemetery in Crickmer.
Visitation will be from noon until time of service on Tuesday.
