Anthony P. Corsi, 47, of Warwick, passed away with his loving family by his side on Friday, May 30, 2025, at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. He was the beloved husband of 16 years to Lisa (Bakken) Corsi.
Born in Providence, he was the son of Barbara (Merritt) Corsi of Coventry and the late Robert Corsi.
Anthony had a personality that could light up a room with his great sense of humor and witty remarks. He loved to make people laugh. He was a devoted family man who had a passion for watching sports, playing golf with his brother, camping, and spending quality time with his wife and daughter. Anthony was a hard worker who dedicated over 20 years working for Site Tech Corp. as a member of Local 271 Laborers Union, and most recently was employed by General Dynamics Electric Boat, Quonset as a Pipefitter.
In 2023, Anthony was the recipient of a life-saving double lung transplant. Anthony returned the gift of life by donating his liver to save the life of a person in need, a true testament to the type of person Anthony was.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Madison Corsi of Warwick; two sisters, Gina Dove and her husband Michael of Coventry and Renee Lepre and her husband Michael of Coventry; his twin brother, Robert Corsi and his wife Amy of Warwick and his nieces and nephews, Katelyn and Allison Dove, Michael and Haley Lepre and Matthew Bakken.
His Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick, RI. Burial will be private for the family. Visiting hours on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to his daughter Madison's 529 College Bound Fund c/o Gina Dove, 57 Hibiscus Lane, Coventry, RI 02816.
