Anthony Paul Crocetti, 84, of Dunbar, passed away peacefully at his home on August 10, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson's disease.
Born September 10, 1940 in Dunbar, he was the son of the late Giovanni and Genevieve (Picconi) Crocetti. A 1958 graduate of Dunbar High School, Anthony proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps.
He began his career as a heavy equipment operator with Crocetti Excavating, owned by his brother, before joining Joseph B. Fay Company, where he worked for 26 years until his retirement. He was a member of Operating Engineers Local #66. He was known for his exceptional heavy equipment operating skills particularly in bridge demolition.
He was a member of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church. Anthony was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Mary Ann (Crayton) Crocetti; two daughters, Kelly Umble and husband Ron of Connellsville, and Kristi Fike of Mt. Pleasant; two grandsons, Zachary Umble and fiancée Carissa, and Dylan Umble and companion Abby; great-grandson Isaac; one brother, John Crocetti; four sisters, Eleanor Hoyng, Geraldine Corrado, Loretta Perri, and Eugenia Horwatt; and many loving brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Anthony was preceded in death by three sisters, Elvira Maglicco, Theresa Jaworski, and Virginia Gorelli; two brothers, Emidio Crocetti and Angelo Crocetti; and his son-in-law, Eric Fike.
Family and friends will be received from 2-8 P.M. Wednesday in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 111 E. Green St., Connellsville where services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 A.M.
