PLEASANT VALLEY - Anthony Gabriel Cuozzo, 20, a lifelong area resident, died on October 5, 2024.
Born in Jacksonville, FL on September 29, 2004, he was the son of Anthony M. Cuozzo, Jr. and Sarah Fraley Cuozzo. Anthony earned his high school diploma from Arlington High School and graduated from the School of Audio Engineering in Manhattan. He was in the process of pursuing a career as an Audio Engineer.
Anthony was an amazing kid who lit up the room and brought joy to all who knew him. He was incredibly funny, making people laugh all the time. He had the talent of being able to mimic any celebrity or cartoon character's voice, which always had his family and friends laughing. He had the most amazing mind and was usually the smartest person in the room. He was creative and artistic, always coming up with new ideas and challenging himself to learn new things. He was even in the middle of writing his own comic and was looking forward to attending the upcoming Comicon in Manhattan. Anthony loved music, whether it was playing classic rock songs on his guitar, or creating his own. He taught himself how to play the guitar and was great at mixing music. He enjoyed snowboarding and was looking forward to spending time on the slopes this Winter. He loved his family, especially his little sister Abby, with whom he had a very special bond.
In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his sisters, Isabella and Abigail; his grandmothers, Eileen Reynolds and Ann Marie Cuozzo; his Aunt and Uncles, Stephen Fraley, Thomas Cuozzo, James Cuozzo, Theresa and Rob Hueser; and his cousins, Robert and Andrew Hueser.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 3-7pm and Sunday from 1-3pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. There will be a service on Sunday at 3pm.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Anthony's name to Mental Health America of Dutchess County, at 253 Mansion Street, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.

The best time Anthony had with me and Lucas that I can remember was when he went to Bmx with us. He had so much fun connecting with all the other kids laughing riding the whole time nonstop. I remember how much he loved it and wanted to join Bmx after that day

I met Anthony at a football game in high school. Truly the sweetest kid, he did all that he could to just make people smile. I am so grateful I was able to know him. He had such a beautiful energy surrounding him. All of my prayers go out to him and his family. I am so incredibly sorry for your loss.

On his birthday this year, I grabbed some of my friends and took him out to our favorite lookout off I-84. Driving around that night was so much fun, we were blasting Mötely Crüe and all of the greats the whole time. I remember that when Kickstart My Heart came on, he started head banging and we all immediately joined in. He brightened up that whole night, and I´m really grateful to have gotten to spend that time with him. It was my friends´ first time meeting him, but even just from that one interaction I could tell they loved his company. He was so laid-back and fun to be around, and I´ve never had the pleasure of knowing anybody else like him. Anthony was loved by a lot of people, and even as life drew everybody further apart, we would still crack up about memories of him in particular.
