Anthony Daun Obituary
Anthony (Tony) Daun was born May 9th, 1960 to Francis (Frank) Daun and Carol Jex (Ostberg) in Blackfoot, Idaho.
He joined the Marine Corps in January of 1978 and it became he second home for the next 5 1/2 years. He saw places like Japan, Korea, and the Philippines. They showed him how to work on airplanes. In1982/83, Tony went to ISU on his GI bill and became a machinist. Over time he became a Master Machinist and was proud of the work he did at such places as Raytheon, Otto Bock, and finally at Sarcos Robotics.
Tony had a great passion for motorcycles and riding. He loves the Corps, his friends, and the Red, White, and Blue. But most of all....he loves his family.
Tony passed away in Syracuse, Utah on November 8, 2022 of a Pulmonary Thrombosis.
He leaves behind his spouse, Gina M. Jenkins; Mother, Carol Ostberg; Father, Frank Daun and siblings: Mindy Sanders, Verdus Ostberg, Jr., and Vicky Berggren; and so many others.
Tony was loved and respected and will be dearly missed.
Viewing will be held at Aaron's Mortuary, 496 24th Street in Ogden, UT on Monday, November 14, 2022 from 6-8 pm with Military Honors starting at 7pm and followed by an open mic.
