Anthony James DeMarinis

Anthony James DeMarinis (Tony Dee), 62, of Lynbrook, NY, passed away at his home on
February 29, 2024 surrounded by his wife and children.
Visitation will be held at Perry Funeral Home, 118 Union Avenue, Lynbrook, NY 11563 on
Monday, March 4th and Tuesday, March, 5th between the hours of 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral Mass
will be held at St. Raymond's Roman Catholic Church, 263 Atlantic Avenue, East Rockaway,
NY 11518 on Wednesday March 6th at 9:45am.
Tony was born in Astoria, Queens to Maryanne DeMarinis (Menno) and Anthony J. DeMarinis
on November 5, 1962. He was a graduate of Monsignor Clancy High School in 1980. He went
on to earn his bachelor degree in Psychology from C.W. Post, LIU.
Tony is survived by his loving wife Donna, his devoted children Jaqueline, Blake, Tyler,
Shannon, and his grandson Giovanni Francis. He is also survived by his father Anthony, and
brother Jim and many, many nieces and nephews. Tony is preceded in death by his mother
Maryann, brothers Vincent, Michael, Christopher and his sister Dawn.
Tony will be remembered as a vibrant, fun, loving, compassionate friend to so many. He is well
known to all as Tony Dee, everyone's favorite "Mets, Dolphins, PBR loving Redneck gas guy".
Also well known for his love of animals, Tony enjoyed spending time riding his horse, playing
with his pig Olivia, Sheldon the rabbit, and his dogs Bubba, Texas and Hercules. As a wonderful
friend beautifully noted, "...for the whole community for so many people he touched with his
smile, his laugh and willingness to go out of the way for anyone... Tony left his mark in a world
with his love for life and people." He will be truly missed.
