Anthony ( Tony ) Devlin, 78, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
He was born on July 30, 1944 in Philadelphia where he resided his entire life.
After graduating Roman Catholic High School, he joined the Army and spent 2 years serving our country. Returning home, Tony went to work for Penn Fishing Reel Company in North Philadelphia. He soon moved on to the banking industry where he worked for the rest of his career retiring from PNC Bank.
He was predeceased by his parents, Francis and Mary Devlin, as well as two of his siblings, Dorothy A. Quinn and Patrick F. Devlin. Tony is survived by his brother Dennis Devlin, his wife Patricia, his sister Rosanne and her husband Frank. Tony also leaves behind his niece Katie and nephews Patrick, Paul, Brendan and Carey and many great nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Family and friends are invited to visit for a memorial service Saturday morning, December 3, 2022 from 11:00AM to 12:15pm PM at John J. Bryers Funeral Home, 406 North Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090. After the conclusion, the Devlin Family will be holding a repast celebration of Tony's life. The repast will be held at the W Tavern, 210 North York Rd., Willow Grove, Pa. 215-530-3937.
