Anthony "Tony" Durchholz, 65, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born May 23, 1960 in Evansville to the late Mary C. (Hartmann) and Albert E. Durchholz, Sr.

Tony graduated from Memorial High School in 1978. After graduation, he worked on the family farm until he retired in 2022. He was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Tony enjoyed keeping up with agricultural trends and attending car shows. Most of all, he cherished spending time with his family and beloved Great Pyrenees, Luna.

He is survived by his wife, Joanne M. (Schaefer) Durchholz; sons, Aaron Durchholz and Ryan Durchholz; brother-in-law, Charles (Cathy) Schaefer, niece and nephew, Allison and Eric; brothers, John (Marilyn) Durchholz; Larry (Joyce) Durchholz, Bob (Lynell) Durchholz and Albert (Jennifer) Durchholz; sisters, Cathy Russell, Angie (John) Lasher and Lisa (Matt) Wagner; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in death by infant brother, Joseph Durchholz.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday, September 1, 2025 at Ziemer Funeral Home Central Chapel, 626 N. First Ave., Evansville. A Funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at the funeral home with Father Ted Tempel officiating.

Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
