Anthony Emmi Obituary
He was born and raised in Chester, PA and is the son of the late Egidia (Vecchio) and Francesco Emmi. Tony graduated from Chester High School in 1955, then earning a bachelor's degree from Widner University in 1974.He proudly served his country in the United States Army Reserves.
Tony started his working career in 1961 at the Dupont Company and retired in 1997 as a financial specialist. Along with being a devoted husband and loving father, he gave to his community as well. Tony was a member of the Claymont Lions Club, Claymont Community Center, Holy Rosary Church and Delaware Veterans Post #1. He also played in the Brandywine Senior Softball League, he also enjoyed playing baseball, bowling and bocce.
His wife of 60 years, Judith L. Emmi died in 2022. Tony is survived by his son, Christopher A. Emmi (Donna Marie Jones Emmi) and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, March 22 at Holy Rosary Church, 3200 Philadelphia Pk, Claymont from 9:30-10:30 am where a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 am. Burial will be at Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA
