Anthony R. Faiola, known affectionately as Tony to his family and friends, passed away suddenly on December 6th, 2025, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew him. Born and raised in Fitchburg, Anthony devoted his life to his family, his work, and his community. He was a proud graduate of Fitchburg State College and a respected manager at Digital and Hewlett-Packard before his retirement. Anthony’s passion for golf was only surpassed by his love for his family, and he served as a lifetime member of the Marconi Club and a member of the Monoosnock Country Club, fostering camaraderie and sportsmanship. Tony also had a love of the beach, going to Ogunquit, Maine, cooking, and a good cigar. He loved The Three Stooges and was extremely proud of his Italian Heritage.
Anthony was a devoted lifelong member of Saint Anthony of Padua Church, his faith being a cornerstone in his life. His dedication to family was unmatched, and his influence and love will continue to resonate in the lives of those he leaves behind. His surviving family members include his beloved wife, Catherine Faiola; his children: Anthony Faiola, Lauren Faiola, and Jason Twomley; his daughters-in-law: Caitlin Faiola and Ashleigh Twomley; his son-in-law, Dan Edwards; his sisters: Clara Gorczynski and Frannie Faiola; and his cherished grandchildren: Ally, Anthony, Alanna, Zoey, Trevor, Elliot, and Charlotte. He was preceded in death by his parents, Silverio and Rose Faiola.
As we remember Anthony, we celebrate a life lived with tenacity, humor, and boundless love. His legacy will continue to inspire us, reminding us of the importance of family, faith, and the joy of a well-played golf game. Calling hours will be Sunday, December 14, 2025, from 2 pm to 4 pm at Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Road, Fitchburg, MA.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 10 am in Saint Anthony of Padua Church, 84 Salem Street, Fitchburg, MA. Burial will follow at Saint Bernard's Cemetery, 96 Goodrich Street, Fitchburg, MA.
Refreshments will be served at The Marconi Club, 36 Birch St Passway Fitchburg, MA, after the burial.
