Anthony Carter Farris

Anthony Carter Farris, 83, of Lake Village, Arkansas, passed away, Friday, December 5, 2025, at Lake Village Rehab and Care Center. He was born on December 1, 1942, in Clarksdale, Mississippi, to his parents, Nesseiba Farris and Sadie Nosif Farris Mansour. Anthony worked as a Security Guard for the Chicot Memorial Medical Center for many years. He enjoyed meeting new people and joking around with everyone. He never met a stranger. At any dinner, Anthony would always bless the cook. He loved his wife's cooking. Anthony also loved being around his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Nesseiba Farris; his mother and stepfather, Sadi Mansour and Edward Mansour.
Anthony is survived by his wife of 49 years, Louise Farris of Lake Village, AR; his sons, Aaron Farris of Lake Village, AR and Andrew Farris of Lake Village, AR; his daughter, Caterina Farris of Lake Village, AR; his sister, Nesseiba Campbell of Greenville, MS and Suzanne McDuffie of Hot Springs, AR; his brother, Gerard Mansour of Greenville, MS; and his brother-in-law, JB McDuffie of Hot Springs, AR; and a host of other family and friends.
A Rosary will be held Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Bishop-King Funeral Home at 6:00 p.m., immediately after will be a Visitation from 6:30-7:00 p.m. A Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church at 11 a.m. with Father Joe Friend officiating. Interment will be at St. Isidore Cemetery under the direction of Bishop-King Funeral Home.
