Anthony “Tony” Greene is the second son of James and Mary Greene born on October 18, 1965 in Monroeville, Alabama. Shortly after his birth, the family moved to Hartford, Connecticut then relocated to Los Angeles, California in 1971.
Anthony graduated high school in 1983 and enlisted into the United States Air Force in January 1984. He retired honorably from active-duty service in September 2008 at the rank of Master Sergeant and began a second career as a government civilian. He retired from civil service in August 2025 accumulating 41 years of dedicated service to this great country. Anthony was an enthusiastic and gregarious person that loved his family, friends, and community.
On October 15, 2025, God called Anthony home. He was preceded in death by his father and eldest brother, James and Otis Greene. Anthony leaves to cherish his memory his wife: Monique Sellers-Greene; two sons: Tahj Sellers and Tai Greene; Mother: Mary Greene; his brother: Warren (wife Kristie) Greene; four aunts; one uncle; nieces; nephews and cousins.
