Blas also found great joy in bringing smiles to others during the Christmas holiday season. He regularly participated in local Christmas concerts and fundraisers, playing the role of Santa Claus – a tradition that brought him immense personal fulfillment and delighted children and families alike.
Blas followed in his father's footsteps to become a 4th Degree Knight for Council 10181 of the Knights of Columbus. He proudly served in numerous Honor Guard opportunities and was deeply committed to helping others through the organization. His dedication to faith, service and brotherhood was a source of pride and purpose – Vivat Jesus!

(Jamie) Rodriguez, Rebecca (Patrick) Tietyen, Daniel (Terrona) Rodriguez, Carey Ann (John) Preston. He was a proud Uncle to 25 Nieces/Nephews and a loving great-uncle to 26 grand nieces and nephews. His life was also graced by a host of close friends who will miss his warmth, wisdom, humor and beautiful smile.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Blas Gomez Rodriguez, Sr. and Margarita Salinas Rodriguez, along with a host of grandparents, great grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends who welcomed him with open arms throughout his life.
