Tony spent his working career as a semi truck driver and loved working on tractors of all kinds.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Heitzman and Ida Bell Hedges, and his sister, Colleen Tinajero.
Tony is survived by wife of 27 years, Elizabeth Heitzman of Sulphur; his daughter, MyKenzie Ritchey of Campbellsburg; his son, Bradley Heitzman of Sulphur; his step daughter, Chelsey Adams of Shelbyville; his brothers, Brian "Buster" Heitzman (Julie) of Crestwood and Cory Heitzman of Crestwood; his step brother, Charles Wesley Hedges, Jr., Shelbyville, Indiana; his grandchildren, MolliAna, Ellanore, Gordon, and Braelyn; and his 18 nieces and nephews and 20 great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 6 p.m. Monday, June 9, 2025 at the Shannon Funeral Home with his nephew, Kacey Allen officiating. Visitation is 2 to 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, family is requesting donations be made towards Tony's funeral expenses.
