Funeral Services for Anothony Coleman "Tony" Hodo, 55, of Ramer, Alabama will be held Thursday, September 26, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Providence Baptist Church in Gallion, Alabama with Terry Hodo and Jeff Ford officiating. Burial will follow in the Providence Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Anthony Coleman Hodo departed this life on September 23, 2024, at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery. He was born on October 3, 1968, in Demopolis, Alabama, to Willie Hodo and Carrie Jo Waits Parker. Tony enjoyed camping, cherishing moments with family, attempting to play his guitar, and bringing joy to others through laughter. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and subsequently pursued a career as an electrician.
He is survived by his children, Ashley Hodo; Kim Buchanon (James); T.J. Hodo (Ashley); Rebecca Hodo; Elizabeth Hodo; five grandchildren; siblings, Terry Hodo (Jenny); Tim Parker; Angela Parker Casey (Mike); Henry Parker (Amelia); Jimmy Parker, Jr.; Wendy Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
He is preceded in death by his father, Willie Hodo; mother, Carrie Jo Waits Parker; father, Jimmy Sterling Parker, Sr.; and granddaughter, Kenzie Hodo.
Pallbearers include Terry Hodo, Tim Parker, Jacob Hodo, Sterling Lowe, Dalton Lowe, James Buchanon, Mike Casey, and T.J. Hodo.
Honorary Pallbearers include Henry Parker and Jeff Windham
