He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Dorothy Mae Cantey, James Cantey, Bernice Pompey, and Samuel Lee Pompey; and uncle, Anthony Keith Pompey.
He is survived by his loving parents, Joel K. Jones of Marietta and Monica M. Jones of Austell; grandparents, Rosa Cantey and Leroy Cantey, Sr.; siblings, Nyiesha Jones Woods (husband, Terry) of Dallas, Rushawn Jones of Marietta, and Nyaisia Jones of Austell; half-siblings, Kavon Jones of Marietta, Ayanna Jones of Marietta, and Kayan Jones of Marietta; uncles, Cedric Cantey and Leroy Cantey, Jr.; aunt, Sheronda Cantey; niece, Aubrielle Jones; nephew, Chase Woods; and many beloved cousins, extended family, and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 3rd, 2:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow the service at Mableton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 PM before the service.

To My Son Anthony f28 only God knows best .they say God only picks the best flowers for he makes no mistakes .it seems like yesterday I didn't know if this was all a dream or was I awake.i long to see your big smile if a visit from you in a dream just to see your face just for a little while.but I know there no need to be sad for I love you but God love you the most so that makes me glad .the memories we shared the laughter and the tears.you will never be forgotten will always be in my heart throughout the years.but one thing I know for sure and yes I understand God didn't take you away from me he only took your hand.even though your body is gone forever but your spirit never die.you will always be in my heart until we meet again beyond the sky.

I remember this one time we were talking about getting my hair done and he fell off his king size bed I was laughing and then I stuck out my tongue and he made a silly face afterwards we deicide his mom would do it.

My favorite memory of you nephew was your loyalty and respect! I will cherish that until we meet again. You and the boys have been buddies/ brothers for like 15yrs. Your smile did wonders to my and I thank God for you and your mom for sharing you with us. Please believe that "mommy" will be okay and yes I still got her back!
