Anthony Leverone, 43 of Abington, MA.
Raised in Abington, Anthony graduated from Abington High in 1999 and went on to earn degrees in both English and Accounting from UMass. He was the loving son of Donna E Leverone (McManus) and the late Andrew F Leverone.
In addition to his mother, he leaves behind his loving sister Linda Begley, her husband David and their children Emily, David and Ashley of Norwell. His sister Cheryl Morley and her husband Scott of Abington. His sister Andrea Snow, her husband Jim and their children Dom and Chris of Bourne. Anthony is also survived by his aunt Linda Cunliffe and her children Jennie Slate and Ben Cunliffe of North Carolina.
Anthony recently began a new position at the engineering firm SGH in Waltham. Where he was very happy and growing professionally.
Anthony's love for fitness and working out led to him spending much of his free time at the gym.
When he wasn't at the gym, he could often be found at Emily and Ashley's dance shows or on the sideline of a baseball game cheering on David. He spent many hours with David working on his pitching in the backyard. He was a proud uncle who loved his family.
Although the loss of Anthony was sudden and tragic, he wouldn't want us to be sad. Anthony always had something funny to say. He loved to make everyone around him laugh. It's only fitting that the family has found great comfort and laughter in hearing all the wonderful stories about Anthony that people have shared this week.
Anthony's family invites friends and loved ones to celebrate his life in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home on Sunday, January 5, 2025 from 2:00-4:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, January 6, 2025 at 10:30 AM in the St. Bridget's Church in Abington.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for gifts in Anthony's memory to be made to South Shore Health Foundation, 55 Fogg Rd South Weymouth, MA

I graduated from Abington High in 1999 with Tony, and even though we ran in different circles, what I do remember is what a genuinely kind human being he was, and his ability to make the people around him laugh. That is an extraordinary thing, and he excelled at it. I could tell he had a generosity of spirit, because it really shone through. Even knowing only those few things about him makes me think he made the world a better place while he was here. My heart goes out to his family left behind, and I hope someday they're able to find peace and closure.
