Anthony V. Martinico

Anthony "Tony" Martinico passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at the age of 97. He was born August 18, 1928 in Detroit, Michigan to Joseph and Mary (nee Vinci) Martinico.

Tony served in the United States Army. Along with his wife Vera, they were very active with their church and the Italian Cultural Center. They loved going on church bus trips and travelling with family and friends, with Hawaii being one of their favorite vacation destinations. Tony loved golfing, roller skating and attending sporting events. Most of all Tony enjoyed the time spent with his family and will truly be missed at any and all family gatherings.

Beloved husband of the late Vera. Dear dad of Joseph (Kathleen), Anthony (Catherine) and Lisa (Bruce) Hatch. Proud grandpa of Jennifer (the late Jason) Prince, Matthew (Nicole) Martinico, Anthony (Brian Archey) Martinico, Giancarlo Martinico, Michael Martinico, Laura Martinico, Tim (Deb) Kearns, Chris Hatch and great grandpa of Michael, Chelo and Amelia.

Visitation Monday, November 24th from 2-8 p.m. at the Wasik Funeral Home, Inc., 11470 Thirteen Mile Road (West of Hoover) Warren. Instate Tuesday, November 25th at 9:30 a.m. until a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Mary, Our Lady Queen of Families Parish – St. Clement, 25252 Van Dyke (North of 10 Mile Road) Center Line. Entombment Resurrection Cemetery.
