Anthony Morales Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Colma Cremation & Funeral Services - Colma on Jun. 17, 2024.
Anthony David Morales, 60, unexpectedly passed into eternal life on June 6, 2024.
Tony was a beloved father, brother, husband, and son, with many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is survived by his former wife Kay Morales, his children Amy (Danny) Gonzalez, Gloria (Dustin) Morales and Anthony (Simone) Morales, Jr., and grandchildren Rowan and Jace Porter, and Liliana Gonzalez.
Also survived by Donna Morales (mother), sisters DeeDee (Lamar) Williams and Cathy Williams, and his nieces Vanessa Beckett and Raimee Williams, nephews Dominic Williams and Raymond Chico.
He was preceded in death by his father, Anthony Morales, Sr. and his brother, Steven Morales.
Tony attended Our Lady of Angels Parochial School during childhood. He played baseball and basketball, continuing through his years at Aragon High School, where he graduated with an athletic scholarship and attended Missouri Valley College. He was ambitious and ultimately became an accomplished Journeyman Carpenter, Restaurant Manager, Owner, and amazing Chef. He loved to watch and coach his children in baseball and basketball. He was a lifelong fan of the San Francisco Giants and 49ers and loved camping, fishing, boating, concerts, comedy, and Italian foods. Everyone who knew Tony loved his charismatic friendliness, and good sense of humor. His absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him.
May he rest in peace in the loving arms of our lord and savior, Jesus Christ.

During my elementary school years I loved watching Tony on the pitcher's mound, as did my father. My father commented on how well Tony concentrated on the game when he was pitching and how Tony set a great example of being focused on the task at hand!
