Anthony C. “Andy” Myrick passed away Sunday, June 30, 2024 at his family home in Brandon. Andy was born in New Orleans, LA on February 13,1978 to Charles and Kathy Myrick.
His young, formative years were spent traveling extensively, living in numerous states and in Puerto Rico. Andy never met a stranger. He adapted to people and places easily because of his outgoing personality. Andy was full of life and was steadfast in his love for the Lord.
He graduated from Soldotna High School in Soldotna, AK. After graduation, he made it back to the place he loved most, the South. He attended college but decided his passion was for the outdoors. So he made his living doing landscaping for different companies. He loved his calling in life and took great pleasure in making his surroundings more “aesthetic”!
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Bonnie Cogan and Lester and Justine Myrick.
He is survived by his son, Adyn Myrick, his parents Steve and Kathy Kowalski and Charles and Karen Myrick. He is also survived by his siblings, Randy Myrick, Casey Myrick, Cody Myrick, Angela Myrick, and Nickie Nester and several aunts and uncles.
A memorial service honoring Andy will be held Friday, July 5, 2024, at the chapel of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon at 2:00 p.m. with interment at Lakeland Place following the service.
