Anthony (Tony) Joseph Nadder, 94, passed away in the comfort of his home surrounded with love in Fulshear, Texas on August 31, 2025.

He was born July 31,1931, in Richmond, Virginia to Mary Norseffe Nadder and Joseph Stephen Nadder. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, brother John Joseph Nadder Sr., and two sons Anthony Joseph (Tony Joe) Nadder Jr., and Richard Joseph Nadder. He is survived by his loving wife Jane E. Nadder, son, Andrew M. Nadder (wife, Patsy Loeb), and stepsons Matthew D. Clinefelter (wife Courtney) and Christopher J. Clinefelter (wife Mariela), sisters Theresa Nadder Carroll, Lula Nadder Mardigian (Richard), brother Joseph Stephen Nadder Jr. (wife Gloria), nine grandchildren, Hina, Caylie, Camden, Grayson, Lemya, Lindsey, Leah, Lisa and Pierre.

Tony grew up in Richmond, Virginia where he graduated from Benedictine High School in 1948. He loved anything and everything that involved aircraft, even taking flying lessons at Richmond International Airport. This led him to enlist in the United States Air Force where he excelled in electronics and radar systems. With honorable service over a 20-year career, in several states, Korea and Viet Nam, he retired from active duty in 1971.

After retiring from the Air Force, he began servicing X-Ray and Biomedical equipment for hospitals and clinics in the greater Houston, Texas area. With the passing of his then youngest son, Richard, in 1989, Tony moved to San Diego, California. He served as a civilian for the United States Navy where he maintained and repaired electronic systems on submarines at Point Loma.

He also developed a love for the American Saddlebred Horse and bought, sold, bred and was involved with his family in showing these amazingly beautiful horses from Texas to California, to Kentucky. He loved sitting and talking to many of the old trainers at horse shows across the country. He was so proud to watch his wife, Jane and stepsons, Matthew and Christoper show horses and later, his youngest son, Andrew, in horse show arenas across the country.

Tony dearly loved his family and would do anything to help and support them anytime, anywhere. He was always known to have jokes to tell and stories to share with everyone. He was an inspiration to all who knew him. Tony never met a stranger that didn't soon become a friend, and he never said goodbye, just, "God Bless You, and see you soon."

Interment will be held at 11:30 AM, on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, with Military Honors at the Houston National Cemetery, in Houston, Texas.
