Anthony Christopher Ogas

1997 - 2025 Anthony Christopher Ogas, age 27, of Rio Communities, New Mexico, passed away on August 20, 2025. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with services at 12:00 p.m. at Romero's Funeral Home 609 N Main Street Belen, NM 87002. His final interment will take place at the Evan Family Cemetery in Harvey's Lake, Pennsylvania, where he will be laid to rest next to his maternal grandfather, Barry L. Evan. Anthony was a cherished son to Gerith Evan Chavez, Mark Ogas, and Margaret Vittitaw, a beloved sibling to Isaac Chavez, Monica Evan Chavez, Stephanie and Jennifer Ogas, and a doting uncle to Alivia and Avelina Rivera. He is survived by Maria Evan, his maternal grandmother, aunts and uncles and many cousins. Anthony was also a good friend to many within his communities. He will be remembered for his kindness, his humor and quick wit, and the deep love he had for those closest to him. Anthony's life, though far too short, leaves a lasting impact on everyone whose life he touched. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who will carry with them the joy and love they shared throughout his life.
