Anthony (Tony) Lawrence Pace, 81 years old, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October
16, 2025, at home surrounded by his immediate family.
Tony attended St Vincents grammar school and graduated from Vallejo High in 1963. He
worked for Vallejo Garbage Service when it was owned by his family; started as a teen and
made it his career for 40 years. In the 80s, he built a vacation home in Cobb that he enjoyed
with his family and friends for many summers.
Tony was a long time member of the Vallejo Elks Lodge, Vallejo Golf Club, St Basils Church,
and Sons of Italy - Virgilio Lodge. He loved attending all of his grandkids sporting and school
events. He was a huge 49er and Warriors fan and he loved playing golf.
Tony was a family loving and caring man. He is survived by his wife Judy, married for 59 years.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories: 2 sons - Nick and Brian; 4 grandchildren - grandson
Vincent and granddaughters Samantha, Rose and Zuzu; 2 great grandchildren - Brantley and
Claire; and daughter in-laws - Cherie and Renee.
His wife would like to extend heartfelt thanks to all of their family and friends for their caring
and support.
There will be a private service for immediate family only.
"Bear with on another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgive each other; as the
Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive." - Colossians 3:13
