Anthony Pinchera Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home on Jan. 1, 2026.
Anthony Peter Pinchera, Jr., of Glastonbury, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2025.
Anthony, known to many as Tony, was born on June 19, 1938, in Hartford, Connecticut, to Anthony Peter Pinchera, Sr. and Jenny Lanciano Pinchera. He grew up in Hartford and graduated from Bulkeley High School in 1956. He went on to attend the University of Connecticut, earning his degree in 1960, and remained a devoted Huskies fan throughout his life.
Anthony dedicated 25 years of service to Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford before retiring. He also proudly served his country as a member of the Connecticut National Guard during the 1960s.
In 1961, Anthony married Patricia Vail. Together they raised their family in East Hartford and Glastonbury. Following retirement, Anthony and Patricia spent 16 wonderful years in Hilton Head, South Carolina, before returning to Connecticut, where Anthony enjoyed reconnecting with many cousins and members of the extended Pinchera family.
Anthony is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia; his son, Vincent (Bozena) Pinchera of Coventry, Connecticut; his daughter, Bonnie Pinchera Howser of Arizona; his granddaughters, Stephanie Howser and Sara (Nick) Bright of Arizona, and Kristina (Ryan) Baldwin of Texas; and his two great-grandsons, Brecken and Bowen Bright of Arizona. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Diana Pinchera of Vero Beach, Florida. He was predeceased by his brother, John J. Pinchera.
His family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Alto Assisted Living and Vitas Hospice for their kind and compassionate care, especially Lisa, Michelle, and Pauline.
A private family burial will be held in Glastonbury. Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home has care of the arrangements. For online condolences, please visit www.carmonfuneralhome.com
