Anthony Rivera Obituary

He was born in Lancaster to the late Jesus and Leticia (Burgos) Rivera.
He was a member of Hammer Creek Mennonite Church. Anthony worked as a truck driver for over 40 years. He also worked at Shady Maple for many years. Anthony considered the Wise and Zimmerman families his "adopted" families. He loved cars and adored his grandchildren and family. Anthony enjoyed impromptu visits and making people laugh with his quirkiness.
Anthony is survived by his wife; two sons, Anthony Rivera, Jr., husband of Lori Rivera, Tyler, husband of Angie Rivera; three daughters; seven grandchildren, Katlyn, Ebian, Kali, Brooke, Grayson, Jordan, Mackenzie; three brothers, Orlando Rivera, husband of Margie Merced, Jimmy, husband of Nora Rivera, Ivan Rivera; a sister and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025, from 6 to 8 PM, at Hammer Creek Mennonite Church, 590 Hammer Creek Road, Lititz. An additional viewing will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025, from 10 to 11 AM, at the church, followed by his funeral service at 11 AM, with Pastor Leonard Rutt officiating. Interment will take place in the adjoining church cemetery.
