Anthony Rodriguez

Anthony Richard Rodriguez, known fondly as DJ Magic by those who admired his musical prowess, entered his eternal rest on September 4, 2025. Born in Victorville, CA, on July 3, 1971, Anthony was a talented soul who spread joy and inspiration through his unique artistry in tattooing and his captivating DJ performances.
Anthony was an inspiring figure; his life was a canvas to his creativity. A winning artist in his own right, his exceptional skills as a tattoo artist painted stories that lived on human bodies. His creativity was not confined to his tattoos alone but also echoed through his mesmerizing DJ performances. As DJ Magic, he set the tone for many memorable nights, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who had the pleasure of dancing to his beats. A love for fishing was another facet of his appreciation of the simple pleasures of life. Despite his many accomplishments, Anthony remained a humble and loving individual, always putting Christ, family, friends, and his career before anything else. Anthony enjoyed life to its fullest. He did his best to be useful, honorable, and compassionate, which in turn affected the many lives that intersected with his.
A resident of Las Vegas, Nevada, Anthony was a beacon of love and laughter in the lives of his family and friends. He is survived by his parents, Frances Rodriguez and Richard Rodriguez; his sons, Anthony Rodriguez Jr., Vincent Rodriguez, and Chris White; his siblings, Anita (Cedric) Waters and Richard Rodriguez; his Uncle, Mike Petti; his grandchildren, Gabriel, Adrian, Mia, Delilah, Darla, Natalie, Daphne, Ryu, Dominic, Michelle, Angel and Mateo; his nieces and nephew, Ariel, Kenadi and Cameron; and his great-nephew, Julian. He was preceded in death by his son, Dominic Rodriguez.
Visitation will take place on Monday, September 29, 2025, at 10:00 am PDT, at La Paloma East, 5450 Stephanie Street, Las Vegas, Nevada. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am PDT at the same location. Burial will be at Davis Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 6200 South Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada, at 1:00 pm PDT.
