Mark Fini was born on May 16, 1958, in Nashua, New Hampshire, and spent his childhood years in Sepulveda, California. As a teenager, he moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he graduated from Valley High School and remained throughout his adult life. Mark passed away on September 5, 2025.
Mark had a passion for cars, motorcycles, and boats; and he loved the thrill of speed on all of them! While not much of a drinker, Mark enjoyed relaxing with a fat joint and listening to Ozzy Osbourne. He loved playing Keno, watching golf or football on a Sunday afternoon, and spending time with his loved ones.
In the 1980s, Mark married Cindy, and together they had two children, Tiffany and Anthony. During that time, he worked alongside his father repairing air conditioners and eventually went on to start his own business, Tiffany Air. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed spending time at the lake, waterskiing, fishing, partying with friends and family, and working with his hands.
In the 1990s, Mark worked as a pit mechanic in the Mint 400 and kept busy with jobs that put his mechanical and trade skills to use. Over the years, he helped countless friends and family with projects big and small. One of his most special collaborations was with his dear friend, Regina. Together, they were building a beautiful outdoor structure made from wood and glass bottles. Regina plans to complete the project by mixing Mark's ashes into the mortar, along with handwritten messages and memories-immortalizing his spirit in every bottle and beam.
Mark was a skilled and hardworking handyman who could fix just about anything (air conditioners, refrigerators, cars you name it). If something was broken, Mark was the guy to call, and he'd show up ready to get it working again. Beyond work, Mark enjoyed playing the guitar, relaxing with his cats, and spending time with those he loved most. He had a big heart, a sharp wit, and a sense of humor that brought laughter to his friends and family.
Mark will be remembered for his craftsmanship, his dedication to his work, his deep love for animals, and the care and loyalty he showed to the people closest to him.
He is survived by his beloved friends, Regina and Ray Ausmus; brother, Christopher Fini; sister, Cathie Wright-Thomas; half-sister, Shirley Silverstone; brother-in-law, Gary Thomas; nephews, Bryan and Nicholas Outcalt; nieces, Sara, Alisha, and Kylie Outcalt; daughter and son, Tiffany and Anthony Fini; and grandchildren, Kenzie Marie and Mya Jayne Reinarz, Benjamin, Willow, and Orabella Fini.
He was preceded in death by his father, Silvio Anthony Fini; mother, Saylor Irene Henshaw Fini; and grandparents, John and Sara Fini, as well as Katie and Rupert Henshaw.
A Celebration of Life and Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., with a reception immediately following from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at La Paloma East, 5450 Stephanie Street, Las Vegas, NV 89122.
