Anthony Svolos Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Bradley Funeral Home - Marlton on Feb. 7, 2025.
Anthony James Svolos, known affectionately as Tony to his friends and family, passed away peacefully at his home in Marlton, New Jersey, on February 5, 2025. Born on May 28, 1955, in Oneonta, NY, to the late James and Demtro Svolos. Tony's warm smile and friendly demeanor touched the lives of all who knew him.
Tony is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Pat, a testament to a life filled with love and devotion. Together, they raised a family that includes their children, Nicole Svolos (Jim Miller), Kristen Graveley (Jason), and Jonathan Svolos. Tony's role as a grandfather was one of his greatest joys, and he will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Evelyn Graveley, Mikayla Miller, Andrew Graveley and Luke Graveley. His brother, George Svolos (Christie), along with many nieces, nephews, and other relatives, will miss Tony's loving presence.
Tony's professional life was marked by a successful career in a variety of sales positions, most recently with AbbVie where he dedicated many years before his retirement. His colleagues knew him as a man of integrity and charm, qualities that undoubtedly contributed to his professional achievements.
Beyond his work, Tony was a man of many passions. He cherished the time spent with his family, particularly with his son Jonathan and his grandchildren. The family trips to Ocean City were a highlight for Tony, where he could be found walking the boardwalk with Jonathan, sharing stories and laughter with his loved ones. His love for the beach was only matched by his enthusiasm for sports, as he was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates.
In the Kings Grant neighborhood, Tony was more than a resident; he was an ambassador. His friendly wave and ready smile made him a beloved figure, and his willingness to lend a hand or an ear made him the heart of the community. Now, the neighbors are left wondering who will be their go-to for all things lawn maintenance.
Tony's life was characterized by his loving nature. He was a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life, from a sunny day at the beach to the excitement of a Steelers' touchdown. His friendly approach to life made him a cherished friend and a pillar in the lives of those he touched.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at St. Joan of Arc Church, 100 Willow Bend Rd, Marlton, NJ 08053. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 am, at the church. Burial will follow at Park View Cemetery at Kirby's Mill in Medford, NJ

Tony was one of the most upbeat positive people on the world. He exuded warmth and love. He had a light all his own. The world is a poorer place without his smile. He will be sorely missed by all those who had the luck to know him.
Deepest condolences to Pat and the children.

Tony and George, and Bill and Doug, are friends from Butler Pa. I´m Marcia, sister of Bill and Doug. Those 4 boys were friends from the beginning! Loved each other and loved the families that they came from. If they got into trouble, they did it together. As the older sister, I can´t divulge anything other than they had fun and they were so close. My condolences to the entire Tony Svolos family. Love from a Butler sister.
