It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Anthony "Tony" Joseph Torriero Jr., a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, who left us on August 26, 2025, at the age of 61. Born on May 19, 1964, at Bryn Mawr Hospital, Anthony spent his life in the vibrant community of Marlton, New Jersey, where he touched the hearts of many with his warmth and kindness.

Anthony was the cherished son of Joan Torriero and Anthony Torriero, both of whom precede him in death. He is survived by his loving sister, Deanna Effinger (Scott), and brother, Marc Torriero (Mimi), along with his adored nieces and nephews: Anna, Kya, Olivia, and Reid Effinger; Camilla and Jack Torriero. He treasured his family and was a devoted uncle, always ready with a smile and a kind word.

A proud graduate of West Chester University, Anthony earned a Bachelor's Degree and dedicated over 30 years of his life to a successful career in pharmaceutical sales. His professional life was marked by integrity and dedication, traits he carried with him into every interaction.

Anthony was a man of few words, but his presence could light up a room. His expressive face told stories that words sometimes could not capture. He had a unique ability to connect with people, making them feel seen and valued. Friends and family fondly remember him for his joyous spirit, his passion for life, and his ability to find joy in even the simplest of moments.

In his leisure time, Anthony cherished the love of family and friends. He found joy in the warmth of the beach, the challenge of a good golf game, and the thrill of antiquing. He was proud of his Italian heritage, often expressing it through his love for cooking, sharing delicious meals with those he loved. His dedication to fitness was evident, as he enjoyed working out and staying active, inspiring those around him to lead healthy lifestyles.

Anthony's memory will forever be honored by those who were lucky enough to know him. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harry and Viola Van Winkle, and Frank and Elizabeth Torriero. Their love and influence shaped him into the remarkable person he became.

A viewing and funeral service to celebrate Anthony's life will be held at St. Phillip and James on Wednesday, September 3rd. The viewing will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by the service. Immediately after, the burial will take place at St. Agnes in West Chester.

As we bid farewell to Anthony Joseph Torriero Jr., we carry forward the light he brought into our lives. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten, living on in the hearts of those he loved and inspired.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Anthony's name to the American Kidney Fund.
