Anthony J. Tubia

Mr. Anthony J. Tubia, Sr. 76, of East Herkimer, passed away peacefully at Little Falls Hospital on Monday, August 11, 2025, with his loving family by his side.

Anthony was born in Herkimer on December 30, 1948, the son of the late Anthony and Theresa (Tocci) Tubia. He was raised and educated in Herkimer, graduating from Herkimer High School. He then attended barber school, something he enjoyed doing in his spare time. Anthony was united in marriage with Nancy Jacobson on March 1, 1969, in Herkimer. They shared 56 wonderful and loving years together. Anthony worked as a machinist retiring from Fermer Precision. He was a proud 55 year member of the East Herkimer Volunteer Fire Department.

Anthony is survived by his loving wife Nancy, their children Tricia Chabot and her husband Keith, Herkimer, Michael Tubia, Wilmington, DE, Anthony Tubia, Jr., East Herkimer, sister Linda Abling, Herkimer, Rocco Tubia and his wife Petra, DE, Timothy Tubia and his wife Melissa, Herkimer, grandchildren Raygin, Dacey and her husband Wesley, Audrey, Reece, Ryan, Joseph, Nicolas, Anthony, great grandchildren Brianka, Chase, Luka, Ayden, Gwendolyn, Liam, Gracelyn and several nieces and nephews, with special thanks to Robert and Carrie Parese, Butch and Missy Parese for they did for Anthony. Anthony is predeceased by his parents Anthony and Theresa, brother Donald Tubia, mother and father-in-law Robert and Irene Jacobson, sisters and brothers-in-law Joan and Owen Franklin and Sally and Pat Parese and niece Jamie Knapp.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 10AM-12(Noon) at Fenner Funeral Home, Inc., 115 Court Street, Herkimer, NY. A funeral service will be held at the conclusion of calling from the funeral home. Anthony will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery, West German Street, Herkimer.
