Anthony James Vazquez Jr. 26, of Endicott, NY, passed away unexpectedly, on June 1, 2023 due to natural causes, at his home. Anthony was born July 28, 1996, in Sayre, Pennsylvania to Tracy L. King and Anthony J. Vazquez Sr. He graduated from Vestal Central Schools, class of 2014. Anthony was very good with computers and was a video game aficionado, and liked to tinker with automobile repair and detailing. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and loved animals. Anthony was predeceased by his father, Anthony Vazquez Sr; his maternal grandmother, Annette King; paternal grandmother, Maryann Fish; two uncles, Brett King and David Vazquez; great grandparents, John and Mary Ciarlei and Rita View. Anthony is survived by his mother, Tracy King (Eric VanFossen), of Endicott, NY; his sister, Shaunte Vazquez (Ryan Pierce), of Apalachin, NY; nieces and nephew, Amelia, Alaina and Colson; his maternal grandfather, Donald King, of Apalachin; dear friend, Madi Obregon; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that he held close to his heart, in his own quiet way. Anthony will be remembered for his memorable smile and for his gift to make people happy. He had a drive for knowledge, and liked to share the whys and myths of life's adventures. To his friends, Anthony's nickname was "Nome", due to his short stature. What Anthony lacked in height he made up for in kindness and empathy. He had a big sensitive heart and was a quiet, gentle soul that will be greatly missed by so many. In honoring Anthony's wishes there will be no funeral services, but a gathering to celebrate Anthony will be announced by the family in the near future.
You left us way too soon Anthony. "Forever is shorter than you think, never take for granted what you have."
**Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 30th, 2023.
